Etsy treasury list.

This morning I put together a Etsy treasury list of men items. A couple of these shops I have personally purchased from and was very happy with the product. The amount of men that sell on Etsy is only about 4% so I know that some of you out there have a talent. Maybe you like to bend steel, weld metal, shape wood, or make that cool shirt, swing by and become a member.

You'll cut your fingers off!

I know or think everyone has had that one teacher with the missing digit. The one who would point at the chalk board with that one hand and only four fingers. The on who would bend over your desk and put there hand on the table as you stare dumbfound.

Pre adjustment mode
I will surly not try to duplicate those events with my hands. I will keep a close eye on my 10 stubby digits as I use my new 14" band saw. I have been wanting a band saw for sometime now. I'm all about Craftsman tools and what they can do. My father has always used Craftsman tools and always will.

It's been how long!

I didn't realize how it's been since my last post. I made a deal with myself to update at least once a week but as you can see that never happened. Time has gone on and so have the ideas. Every great historic idea that I come up with goes into my Moleskin journal. www.amazon.com/Moleskine-Pocket-Ruled-Notebook/dp/B00069DKVG I love this little treasure trove of ideas.

I first learned of this journal from an article on a blog a few years back. I believe Benjamin Franklin used one to jot all his notes down. Ernest Hemingway also used one to create great novels. I have enjoyed my Moleskin so much I bought three just in case they ever go out of business. Lets hope not.

Welcome to the new 50Splinters Blog

In my new blog I'll have updates on my new items and up and coming items. In my shop on Etsy www.etsy.com/shop/50splinters I have a variety of kitchen items ranging from tools to cutting boards. If your looking for a unique cutting board I have them also. My cutting boards range from ordinary to unordinary. You can request a custom cutting board on my Etsy page or if you don't have a Etsy account send me an email.

In this weeks custom order was from a customer that wanted a Meat and Cheese board in the shape of Italy. After some emails she decided on the board that you see. It's made out of solid maple and then sanded smooth with 400 grit paper. I loved the board so much I thought I'd start selling it on my Etsy page.
